1.1 Prices may vary from date of quotation to date of purchase, thus, prices on quotation do not necessarily reflect the actual purchase price. - Orders & Delivery
2.1 Orders are placed when an order form is made and signed by the customer
2.2 Orders cancelled prior to 3 weeks of delivery will carry a 75% (of product price) charge. Orders cancelled before three weeks to delivery will carry no charges, however, deposits will not be returned.
2.3 Although, everything possible is made to meet delivery dates, due to material scarcities and other issues, delivery date can be extended by a maximum of 1 month. If this 1 month has elapsed, the customer may choose to be refunded his deposit back and thus, cancel the order.
2.4 The agreed price includes delivery up to ground floor. In case that the product needs to be delivered to higher floors an additional charge of Euro 35 shall apply in order to cover the expenses for the use of a furniture lifter.
2.5 It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the product delivered is free from faults or defects. By accepting the product, the customer is accepting the product as it is. No complaints for wrong dimensions colour and others will be accepted after the product has been delivered. In case that the product is found not to comply with specifications found overleaf and jade sofas accepts to take back the product in order to change it and/or make the necessary modifications, please allow a maximum of 1 month for such changes to be made.
2.6 It is the customers’ responsibility to make sure that the product will be able to pass through doors/windows in order to make the delivery possible. Jade sofas will not be liable for products which cannot be delivered due to unsuitable passage ways. - Payments
3.1 Deposits shall amount to 20% of total price
3.2 Balance due (total less deposit) must be settled as soon as the delivery has been made; no credit or payment terms are given unless these have been agreed upon before the order has been made.
3.3 The product shall remain the property of Jade sofas even after delivery until the product is fully paid for or if payment made by cheque is dishonored.
3.4 All receipts shall be null if payment made by cheque is dishonored.
3.5 All balances on credit not settled after 30 days shall incur an 8% interest rate. - Warranty
4.1 The product is covered by a 2years warranty which applies on both material and workmanship. However, such warranty does not cover damages due to wear and tear or misuse of product; such as (examples only, other may apply): a. damage to materials due to incorrect cleaning; b. damage in product due to humidity and other weather conditions; c. damage in product due to repetitive movements from one location to another; d. damage in the frame due to brutal continuous movement on product. (Warranty is void, if repairs are conducted by unauthorized personnel). In case of repairs covered by warranty please allow a maximum of 2 months in order to finish the required work on product. -

5.1 Any personal information you communicate to us is kept within our own records in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2001 and is not passed on to any third parties. The information collected by us is necessary to deliver your product and to be able to bill the correct person. You may, at any time ask us for what information is held by us about you and you are able to modify incorrect information and where applicable to erase any information held.
